The short platform answer

Current evidence supports treating multiplayer as a Quest feature rather than a universal I Am Cat feature. Steam officially labels its release single-player. The PlayStation Store describes the PS5 and PS VR2 release as offline play enabled.

  • Quest: multiplayer has been observed in current source material.
  • Steam VR: the official store feature list says single-player.
  • PS VR2: the official store listing supports offline play, not an online multiplayer promise.

Is there cross-play

There is not enough current first-party evidence to claim cross-play between Quest, Steam VR, and PS VR2. A multiplayer room or menu seen on Quest should not be copied into a Steam or PS VR2 walkthrough.

What to check after an update

Feature availability can change. Check the current store feature list, installed version, and in-game menu on your own platform. We will update this page when a current build or first-party announcement changes the supported platform picture.
